SACRAMENTS PREPARATION
BAPTISM/ BAUTISMO
REQUIREMENT FOR CHILD: Infant Baptism is celebrated for a child less than 6 years old.
REQUISITO PARA EL BAUTISMO DE NIÑOS: El infante debe ser menor de 6 años de edad.
REQUIREMENT FOR PARENTS:
1. Both parents must attend the Baptism Preparation Class.
2. Parents should submit a copy of the birth certificate of the child.
3. A commitment to practice their Catholic faith in the parrochial community.
REQUISITOS PARA LOS PADRES:
1. Ambos padres deben asistir a la clase de preparación Bautismal.
2. Entregar una copia del certificado de nacimiento del infante.
3.Comprometerse a vivir su fe Católica y vivirla en la comunidad parroquial.
REQUIREMENTS FOR GODPARENTS:
1. Must be at least 16 years of age, and willing to accept the responsibility of supporting their godchild in faith.
2. For Baptism a godfather and godmother are chosen.
3. Must be Catholic and have completed the Sacraments of Initiation (Baptism-Communion-Confirmation).
4. The godparents should submit a copy of the confirmation certificate.
5. Godparents must attend the Baptism preparation class.
REQUISITOS PARA LOS PADRINOS:
1. Los padrinos deben tener al menos 16 años de edad y deben estar dispuestos a aceptar la responsabilidad de ayudar a su ahijado a crecer en la fe.
2. Se debe escoger un padrino y una madrina.
3. Los padrinos deben ser Católicos y que hayan completado los Saramentos de Iniciación (Bautismo-Comunión-Confirmción).
4. Deben entregar una copia del certificado de Confirmación.
5. Deben atender a la clase de preparación Bautismal.
BAPTISM PREPARATION CLASS:
Third Saturday of the month at 11:00 AM. There is not Baptism during Advent and Lent Liturgical seasons. Previous to attend the class, parents must register the infant with the parish secretary.
CLASES DE LA PREPARACION BAUTISMAL:
En Español la clase se ofrece el tercer Sábado del mes a la 1:00PM. En el tiempo Litúrgico de Adviento y Cuaresma no hay bautismos. Los padres deben registrar con la secretaria al infante antes de asistir a la clase.
DATES FOR BAPTISMAL CLEBRATIONS:
The second Saturday of the month at 2:00 PM. For having the celebration whithin the Holy Mass you need to call the office to schedule.
FECHAS PARA LOS BAUTIZOS:
Tercer Sábado del mes a las 2:00PM. Para la celebración dentro de la Santa Misa, llamar a la oficina para reservar la fecha.

FIRST PENANCE / PRIMERA CONFESION
FIRST COMMUNION / PRIMERA COMUNION
The child must be studying in Third grade, or be 7 years old or older.
The child must be registered for the Catechetical program for First Communion. This catechesis will last for a year, as requisites the child must at least being one year as part of the CCD program on this parish or in a different one (in this case a certificate will be requiered) prior to the year for First Communion preparation. At the end of the preparation, each child will be evaluated about the primary prayers, and their knowledge about the Holy Eucharist. If the results are not satisfactory the family and child will be notified that more formation is needed and as a result the child must have a nother year of preparation to be able to make the first Communion.
El niño debe estar en tercer grado o ser mayor de 7 años.
El niño debe registrarse para la catequesis de Primera Comunión. Esta catequesis tiene una duración de un año, como requisito el niño debe ya de haber estado al menos un año en el programa de CCD en la Parroquia o en otra diferente ( en este caso se pedirá un certificado) antes de la ctequesis para la primera comunión. Al final de la preparación, el niño será evaluado acerca de las oraciones principales y el conocimiento acerca de la Eucaristía. En caso de no pasar estas evaluaciones, se le informará a la familia y al niño que debe prepararse por otro año más.

ADULT CONFIRMATION / CONFIRMACION DE ADULTOS.
This ceremony is for baptized, already catechized Roman Catholic adults – 18 years old and older – who have not previously been confirmed.
Esta ceremonia es para el bautizado, que ya ha recibido cierta catequización, es ya mayor de 18 años y no ha sido aún confirmado.

MARRIAGE
1. Set a metting with the priest or deacon of your Parish a year prior to the desired wedding date.
2. Filling out the Premarital Inventory.
3. Formation Part I. God's Plan for a Joy-Filled Marriage Seminar.
4. Formation Part II. Engaged Encounter Weekend and meetings with the Marriage Preparation Minister of your parish.
5. Preparing the Wedding Liturgy.
6. Wedding rehearsal.
MATRIMONIO
1. Separe una cita con el sacerdote o diácono de su parroquia al menos un año antes de la fecha deseada para la boda.
2. Llenar el Cuestionario Prematrimonial.
3. Formación Primera parte: Seminario "El Plan de Dios para un Matrimonio Pleno y Feliz.
4. Formación segunda parte: Encuentro de un fin de semana "Comprometidos". Y reuniones con los encargados del ministerio de preparación Matrimonial.
5.Preparar la liturgia.
6. Ensayo de la boda.
